Ready to Lead: Unblocking the Leadership Pipeline for Young Women

Why are so many ambitious young women still being held back from their first leadership role?

Ready to Lead is a new report from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) exploring the structural, cultural and behavioural barriers preventing young women from progressing into management positions, despite their ambition and potential. The research highlights the visibility, confidence and progression gaps that continue to impact career advancement and provides practical recommendations for organisations looking to build stronger, more equitable leadership pipelines.
