Our membership model features a range of services that directly impact the progression of women into leadership roles,  and their ongoing retention

Women@Tech is a volunteer-led UK organisation, dedicated to connecting, developing, and advocating for women in technology, with the backing of our industry-leading member companies.

Driven by women and allies working within the most influential Tech companies in the UK, we deliver a unique blend of mentorship and development programmes; networking events; and advocacy initiatives, to improve representation and progression of women within the Tech sector.

Unlock industry best practice

Industry data, policies and executive influence have a huge impact on women’s progression and retention. Our members have exclusive access to best practice insights and thought leadership including:

  • Yearly gender gap report - Analysis of our member companies across a range of data points and policies, including bespoke sessions with our in-house consultants.

  • Executive sponsor roundtables - Join and access a committee of executives from across our member companies. Our representatives meet quarterly at curated roundtables to discuss topical challenges and share best practice.

Networking & Events

Networking plays a vital part in career progression, and building community is necessary to create an industry where women feel welcome. Our members get access to events, locations, speakers and active audiences including:

  • A minimum of four industry events annually

  • Custom-interest networking groups.

  • Support from Women@Tech in curating your own events including securing speakers, canvassing for topics, and promotion to our community.

Development

Development is key to helping women to progress and succeed within the technology industry. Our programmes include:

  • Cross-company mentoring programme - access to mentees and mentors from across our member companies within a structured first-of-its-kind programme.

  • Training opportunities - access to resources, programmes and events from across our member companies and partner framework.

Company Membership Criteria

  • Must be in the technology industry.

  • Must be based in the UK (can be headquartered elsewhere).

  • Active committee membership from at least three people per organisation for minimum one year (Silver & Gold).

  • Committee members must be able to liaise with the women’s network, Employee Resource/Affinity group or Diversity Equity and Inclusion team within the member organisation.

  • Must have a named sponsor at Executive level (Gold).

  • Will provide support for key initiatives (i.e.: host yearly event).
